About Me

Hi! I am a qualified integrative counsellor, providing face-to-face or online individual therapy for adults - on either a fixed short-term basis or an open-ended time frame.

I have 10 years' experience working with all kinds of people who are dealing with anxiety, depression and stress, as well as issues around bereavement, family or parenting, disability, abuse, trauma, body image, eating disorders and relationships.

I have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from the Minster Centre, a leading psychotherapy training institution in London, a post-qualifying diploma in Eating Disorders, and have additional training in body acceptance, therapeutic creative writing, neurodiversity and sexuality. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, which means I work according to their standards of good practice.

Before setting up my own practice, I volunteered as a counsellor and listener for Cruse Bereavement, Swan Project (alcohol addiction) and Samaritans.

And before becoming a therapist I took an interest in people as a market researcher - running focus groups in front of one-way mirrors, interviewing families at home and individuals at work, and accompanying people about for the day to see what their lives are like.
